Cities of Promise

Recently MAP completed a series of educational workshops in eight Cities of Promise communities: Detroit, Flint, Hamtramck, Highland Park, Benton Harbor, Saginaw, Pontiac, and Muskegon Heights.  These workshops coordinated elected and appointed officials, community stakeholders and staff members by providing basic planning and zoning training in protocol and procedual requirements to develop the knowledge, resource base, and decision making abilities of their community leaders.
