Mission Statement

The Michigan Association of Planning exists so that Michigan will consist of healthy, safe, attractive and successful communities built first and foremost on quality community planning.

With this as its mission the Association offers the following statements to define quality planning. We encourage all cities, villages, townships, counties and regions in Michigan to embrace this philosophy.
