Sample Michigan Comprehensive Plans and Zoning Ordinances

The Planning and Zoning Center at Michigan State University created an online library of comprehensive plans and zoning ordinances from across Michigan.

Communities without planning or zoning documents are encouraged to reference this list for the purpose of formulating new plans and ordinances. Communities that are updating or amending plans and ordinances may also wish to reference established policies and regulations from around Michigan and the United States. If you have questions regarding a community's master plan or zoning ordinance, contact information can be found on the local unit of government's Web site.
