Economic Development Intern
The City of Jackson, MI, is seeking an Economic Development Intern. This is a paid position ($10-$11 per hour; 20-30 hours per week) that serves the Jackson Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and is supervised by the Economic Development Project Manager and other higher classified employees. The intern performs a variety of tasks related to Brownfield Redevelopment, Economic Development and Planning initiatives involving the ability to organize multiple tasks and use limited judgment. Applicants should have a comprehensive understanding of computer applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Reader, and internet browsers.
This is an entry level position and no specific work experience is required. Enrollment in an undergraduate level program or higher in economic development, urban planning, public administration or a related field is required.
