Biking to Park

Exploring Safe Routes to Parks:

Where Park Access and Active Transportation Meet

Join us to learn how Safe Routes to Parks is a movement to make biking, walking, and rolling to parks safer, more convenient, and equitable. Discover how Safe Routes to Parks can be used to strengthen health and transportation cross-sector collaboration, elevate community needs, and advance policies and projects to support physical activity, such as walking and biking.

We will share examples of Safe Routes to Parks in action from Michigan and beyond. Leave with ideas and inspiration to integrate park access into your own work and community.

This webinar is part of a series of free webinars funded by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, hosted by the Michigan Association of Planning and presented by the Safe Routes Partnership.

Featured Speakers:

Vanessa Cascio, Policy and Program Manager, Safe Routes Partnership
