To apply, you must be a member of Michigan Association of Planning and enrolled at a Michigan college or university for academic year 2026-2027 in an urban or regional planning program or a related curriculum with an emphasis on land use planning.
Recent scholarships have ranged from $800 to $1500 per student, in addition to complimentary registration for the annual Planning Michigan conference, held in the Fall.

A non-monetary scholarship will cover all costs to attend the Annual Planning Michigan conference including conference registration, travel (gas card), and accommodations.

| | Mark your calendars! This year's Planning Michigan Conference will be at the Kalamazoo Radisson from September 30th to October 2nd. Keynote presenters include Samia Byrd, Donald Elliott, and Dan Kildee.

May 15-18, 2027: American Planning Association (APA) 2027 National Planning Conference (Houston, Texas) |
