Best Practices for Coastal Resilience Planning

Advanced Training for Professional Planners

Join experts for a two-part, all day training session on how to integrate resilience into master plans and regulations.  Part one is a reprise of our 2018 Planning for Coastal Resiliency Workshop.  Part two is a deep dive into the planners' toolkit including access and use of data; community engagement techniques; goals, objectives and actions pertinent to coastal resilience; and how to develop an actionable implementation plan.

This training is designed for professional planners.

6 AICP CM Credits are offered for the all day training.

Training is offered free of charge thanks to a grant facilitated by the Michigan Association Planning from the Michigan Coastal Zone Management Program.

Training will be offered in the Rennolds Room, VT425.  For campus map, click here

Registration for this event is now closed.  Please contact the MAP offices at (734) 913-2000 if you would like to attend.
