MAP Reads

The group was formed to bring together metro Detroit planners to discuss books related to planning, racial justice, and the City of Detroit, although the themes have expanded since the group’s inception. See list of past books here.

You do not have to “join” to participate.  Attend when the title appeals to you, or come even if you would just like to sit in and listen.  We have some hard-core members who attend every discussion, some that come and go, and there are new members at every single meeting.

Interested in joining MAP Reads but don’t live or work in Metro Detroit?  We are happy to help you establish a group for your area, or you can Zoom in.  Contact Andrea at the MAP office.
