Resources to prepare for the AICP Exam:
1.) APA has recently developed new preparation tools. They can be found here: https://www.planning.org/certification/ They are proven effective, and although they’re pricey, they are very comprehensive. The Michigan chapter doesn’t prepare additional study guides, as the APA is the provider of the test and all of the information. 2.) Additionally, Planetizens prep materials have been available for over a decade and many of the students who take the course pass the exam. 3.) APA MI/MAP does help to link up test takers so that you can form study groups. As we receive inquiries from other test takers, MAP can provide you with contacts of other hopeful AICP members. 4.) Additionally, MAP has compiled a list of current AICP planners that are willing to provide one -on - one mentor-like advice, insight about the test and preparation recommendations… all you have to do is reach out to them. The list is available by request by contacting [email protected] |
