Water Asset Management Council Call for Nominations
The Michigan Infrastructure Council (MIC) is currently seeking nominations to fill two expiring terms on the Water Asset Management Council (WAMC).
About the Water Asset Management Council
The WAMC is an advisory council within the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE). It works alongside the MIC and the Transportation Asset Management Council to support and incentivize asset management practices among owners and regulators of drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater systems and develop Michigan’s 30-Year Integrated Infrastructure Strategy.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for public and private sector experts to help shape our state's infrastructure strategy. We're looking for professionals with knowledge and expertise in finance, planning, design, construction, management, and maintenance of these critical systems.”

Nominations Information
Appointments will be made in accordance with P.A. 324 of 2018 and the MIC bylaws. The formal
appointments will be approved at the MIC Annual Meeting on November 20, 2025.
Nominations are being accepted for the following:
- Member with drinking water, wastewater, or stormwater asset management experience.
3-Year Term: January 1, 2026 - December 31, 2028 - Member representing a region.
3-Year Term: January 1, 2026 - December 31, 2028
Individuals interested in being considered for nomination should submit the following information to the MIC, due by September 30th, 2025 before 11:59pm:

- Resume (required)
- Brief candidate biography (required - max. 150 words)
- Letter(s) of support (optional)
- and any other relevant materials for consideration. (optional)
