October is Community Planning Month

October is Community Planning Month

The Governor recently signed a proclamation in honor of Community Planning Month.  It recognized, in part,  "the many valuable contributions made by the professional community and regional planners of the state of Michigan and extend our heartfelt thanks for the continued commitment to public service by these professionals!"

The American Planning Association has additional resources and ideas for individual communities to uplift and highlight the work of planners in the community.
